The Annual "Packing Party"....

Each year, the group gets together in the Stauffer garage for one of the final important steps prior
to leaving: the "packing party". Each team member has one bag for their own clothing and
supplies, and one "team bag" for all the medical and dental supplies and medications. Each bag
must weigh less than 50 pounds, be packed to withstand the rigors of airplane luggage handlers,
and its contents must be chronicled and saved. Sometimes, the customs folks in South America
feel the need to rummage through a couple of our bags, and it helps to present a list of the bag's
contents to them.
