Guatemala Mission 2008
The third Guatemala preschool construction team from CCUMC is set to depart on
Saturday, July 5th. We will be working on the second floor of the preschool at the site
of the Salud y Paz clinic in Camanchaj.
The team has nineteen members, including four 16 - 18 year olds who are accompanied
by a grandparent. It promises to be a wonderful intergenerational experience! As
with previous teams, this one is very diverse with a good number of experienced
construction people and 5 or 6 team members with medical background who look
forward to helping out in the medical / dental clinic which takes place on Monday and
Tuesday. Our common goal is to serve God and share love as we work alongside the
good people in this highlands community.
