Guatemala Preschool Project
November 2007
The team will depart from CCUMC early Saturday morning, November 3, 2007. We will fly to Miami then on to
Guatemala City where we will travel by a team bus to Chichicastenango. The bus trip will take about 4 hours and
we should arrive in time for dinner. Sunday morning we will have a few hours to explore the market in Chichi
before heading to the clinic/preschool construction site to get an understanding of the work we will be doing,
sorting supplies, making assignments and basically getting organized to begin work Monday morning. We are very
thankful for the donations of several power tools including a miter saw, a reciprocating saw, a skill saw, and a
power drill. We are also carrying other useful items and will plan to make some purchases in local hardware stores.
The team would like to thank this very generous congregation for the donations toward our commitment to the
Guatemala preschool project. We will keep you informed about the project as it moves forward and share our
experience with you.
