What a wonderful congregation we have....
The team surely thanks you for the warm wishes and we appreciate the folks who got out of bed so early
Saturday morning (in the dark!) to see us off. It was a very meaningful time for us and really gave us a strong
sense of our mission!

November 3, 2007 evening
Greetings to our family and friends back home.
We arrived safely in Guatemala and have just finished dinner. The team is very tired and looking forward to a
good night's sleep. American Airlines was on schedule and all bags arrived safely. We are looking forward to
checking out the clinic/preschool site tomorrow and it will be an interesting day as the presidential election is
scheduled. The people here must return to their place of birth to cast their vote. The weather is beautiful and
quite cool as we are in the highlands. We all enjoyed the 3+ hour drive from the airport to Chichicastenango.
This is, indeed, a beautiful country.
