On a warm Sunday evening, the team gathered in the Stauffer's garage to pack, label, stuff, and weigh all of the "team bags" (one for each team member). Each could weigh 50 pounds, and there was more "stuff" than what the big bags could take.
There were hundreds of T-shirts, lots of soaps and shampoos, crayons and coloring books, and Polaroid film. The surgical supplies and thousands of dollars of donated drugs were all packed into the luggage.
Just a few days left....
