Aleeya’s surgery

     This morning, 19-month-old Aleeya had her surgery.  She’s had a large cystic mass on the left side of her neck for a while, and she was evaluated here Sunday and scheduled for today.

     She was a bit shy in the pre-op area, and did not want to allow us to put her OR hair cap on her head.  She gave in after seeing that Barney had one on.

     Her surgery went well, the multi-lobular cystic mass was dissected out in about an hour, and she is doing well in post-op (in spite of being a bit unhappy for this picture).
